Zender v3.8.3


Dear Valued Customers,

We are delighted to announce the release of our latest version, which addresses several bugs identified and adds some features.

In this update, we have dropped support for older versions of PHP. This allows us to focus on new features instead of keeping track of backward compatibility.

Important!

  • Zender now requires PHP 8.2 or later!
  • Your Zender must be at v3.8.2 before you update to this version!
  • All existing plugins in your Zender will be removed!
  • Please read and follow the instructions carefully! If you fail to do that and your Zender breaks, we will not provide support!

Update Instructions

1. Create updating.lock file in the root of your Zender.

2. Delete the following files and folders:

- system/controllers/payment.php
- templates/dashboard/pages/misc/payment.tpl
- templates/dashboard/widgets/modals/packages.tpl
- system/plugins/vendor/

3. Download the update zip file: 

You do not have access to download files from our server

4. Unzip the file and upload the contents of the Update folder to your Zender root replacing the existing files.

5. Open your Zender database using PHPMyAdmin then import the "update.sql" file.

6. Change your server PHP version to at least v8.2

7. Delete the contents of system/storage/cache/ folder.

8. Delete the "updating.lock" file from the root of your Zender.

9. Re-save your theme settings.

10. Click the clear "Cache" button.

11. Update your WhatsApp server the same way when you install it replacing existing storage files. (Make sure that your WhatsApp server is stopped before you update)

12. Update your languages, you can get the new language strings from here: https://github.com/titansys/zender-languages

13. All done.

            Yes I Got, Setup Success.

            But When I Scanned Whatsapp, After Scan It Automatically Disconnected With in 2-3 Sec.

            In mobile it's showing logged Out.

              This is a known issue with the WhatsApp library. We'll have to wait until a fix is released. This only affects indian users.

    Whatsapp in not generating QR for linking account after update

    before update my zender version was 3.8.2 and now 3.8.3

        After successful update the issue started then i cleared cache, and also cleared browser cockies cash

        And checked, it was working

          I had it working perfectly and now it disconnected all my accounts and does not allow me to reconnect or create new ones. "Cannot generate WhatsApp QR code!"

          @norielle any idea why to pass? I already cleared the cache, I already reset the binary, I can't just delete everything and reinstall, I have clients killing me right now.

            Hi all,


            I installed the version 3.8.3 directly without update from previous versions and also it's saying "unable to generate QR code" when adding account.


            Is it a bug or i have something wrong in my installation settings and also i don't know what is the "server URL" when creating the whatsapp server.

            Does it mean the broadcast IP address : 0.0.0.0 or localhost or the server IP or what?


            Please help in this issue and have a pleasant day.

    update must to be one click upload  with backup or roll back option in case of troubles !!!

    why each time update available we need to re update language files?

    why language files didn't only update the additions fields and continue with old custom translations already modified?

    guys language files must only adding the differences - each update i modify hundred lines and that make me crazy :(

      You don't have to do that. There is a changes folder in the repository which contains the new language strings, you can just copy that and paste to the bottom of your existing language strings.

      Backing up files is your responsibility. If we add that in the update process, it will severely cause delay when we release new updates.

    i found a bug after update to 3.8.3

    Wordpress plugin entry gone from database and i can't install Zender WordPress WooCommerce Plugin v3.3 again also i need to re change all freemious keys because its cleared from database

    i re enter the insert line from old database backup but there is new column in table "directory" i don't know what to insert it the old woocormerce directory which removed from plugins directory system/plugins/ or must i put it into system/plugins/installables

    What is your problem with file Permissions all the time.
    It's not the first time I notice that the Permissions are set to the minimum.
    When uploading from macOS to the server files are transferred with these permissions because of which there are a lot of problems.

      Why are you blaming us for this issue? File permissions will always change depending on operating system. You can just simply change the permissions.

        I work with a very large number of different scripts. This is the only one with which this problem occurs. The problem occurs only on MacOS, so I work with your script only through Windows. But it took me a while to realize what the problem was. The problem with permissions is a very non-obvious thing. I think many of your customers will have to deal with it. It would be much easier if you would assign the right permissions to files from the beginning, so that we would have less problems with these files.

          We are developing our scripts on Windows. We don't use Mac, and naturally, you'll really have to adjust the permissions. Why are you making this an issue? You could basically run a single command to change the permissions of an entire directory and its contents.

            I'm not making a big deal out of it. It's just that it would be difficult for a normal user to determine the reason why some files are not visible on the server. Or he can't even open them on his PC. It's a small thing, but it's something that most users just don't encounter. It took me a while to realize it myself, and I'm a pretty confident user. You will have less support work if you just check this before you upload your update files.

    Quick update for all indian users. Following is my setup:
    1. Zender: Hosted in India.
    2. Whatsapp Server 1: Hosted in Germany
    3. Whatsapp Server 2: Hosted in India

    Scenario 1: Install VPN app like windscribe and change the location to Germany. Open whatsapp, Scan the code and connect to Whatsapp Server 1 which is located in Germany... It works!!!

    All other combination is failing.

    Hi, I'm testing version 3.8.3, I've gone through all the configuration, CRON is ok, and running the binary on the CentOS server is working correctly.

    However, the connection to the portal remains offline.

      Now, you can copy the command within the Administrator Panel after installing the script, there you will find the command to download and extract the binary.

      However, it is not clear whether we should leave the binary in the root folder or in the WhatsApp folder as it was before (for new installations/testing)

        The binary will be downloaded in the folder where you run the scripts. You can keep it as is. The next step in the process is to run the binary which need you to invoke it by going to that folder.

    same things happen now to me! I have version 3.8.2 everything worked perfectly until I receive an email saying that my whatsapp account has been disconnected due to a whatsapp event now I can no longer create any qr code to connect any account.

      It gives me "peace" of mind that I'm not the only one, but I can't just stay calm, I have systems that work based on that, luckily I still had the old version installed on another subdomain and it works just fine, so it's a problem with the new binary. But I can't get all the clients back to the old system.

      If anyone has a solution (while I continue tinkering to see what it could be) I'd appreciate it!

          The v.3.83, as God intended. And I also have PHP 8.2 just in case. It was working, today it just disconnected all the accounts and it stopped working.


          By the way, if someone has problems like me, log out before doing the update and then I can't do the "re-save" of the theme haha, just change line 129 of /system/resources/mvc_functions.php

    My Whatsapp account is tied to the phone number of another country than India ..
    Today I received such a message from my panel Zender version 3.8.3:

    "Hi there!                

    One of your linked WhatsApp account has been removed with the following unique ID:                        

    1713126..................1c3cd2d5454                       

    This account is not connected to our system anymore due to WhatsApp related event, please link it again.                        

    Thank you!"

      Yes! Same with me. Suddenly got a message all accounts had been disconnected. Cannot relink. No QR code. admin should response to this.

    Just Downgrade to 3.3.6, (Not Recomended)

    am tested, its working fine.

      I have downgraded PHP to version 8.1 and it is back to normal, but in the zender update version 3.8.3 when connecting the QRCode cannot be displayed... Does anyone know the cause of this...?

        Thank you Titan support for the information, after resetting the Whatsapp Server in the QRCode settings it is working normally again.

    Today there was a problem with creating QR code. Rebooting the server does not help.
    The system shows that WA-server is online. But QR code does not allow to generate it.
    All watsapp accounts are offline.
