    Why is the WA server inactive after updating? I have restarted it several times but it is still inactive.

    after too much updating, removing all old sessions still won't start, everything after the last update

    I have two questions about the new version.

    1. WhatsApp server. Now WhatsApp calls it Windows when creating a session. And not Google Chrome as before. Does this mean that WhatsApp perceives this authorisation as a session in a Windows program? Why is it better than authorisation in the browser? In addition to taking up less RAM.

    2. The APK app on android constantly shows some kind of notification when it is in the background. Is this a bug? Or it's a way to keep things running in the background?

      1. The new WhatsApp server has been completely rebuilt to emulate the WhatsApp Desktop application. This architecture provides a more stable connection, improved performance, and a smaller memory footprint. It no longer relies on WhatsApp Web emulation, resulting in greater efficiency and reliability. The binary sizes were also drastically reduced because unnecessary bloatware were removed.

      2. The new Android app displays a persistent notification because it continuously checks for pending messages in the background. This behavior is intentional and required by the Android operating system to ensure that background tasks are not terminated especially on newer Android versions with stricter power management.

      This redesigned approach improves stability and efficiency, with the message sender and message status reporting now handled by separate background workers, ensuring smoother performance and better resource management.
