Hello, Dear Customers! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce the release of Zender v3.9.7-fix-1, packed some much-needed fixes. 

What's New?

You can now send SMS without setting the app as the default SMS app, just like in the legacy version.

However, receiving SMS still requires the app to be set as default. You can easily set it by tapping the new option in the top-right menu of the app bar.

To remove Zender Gateway as the default app:

Just open your device’s built-in SMS app and set it back as default. After that, open the Zender Gateway app again and it will request the standard SMS permissions.

Update Instructions

Back up your database before update!

Your zender must be on v3.9.7 for this update!

1. Download the update zip file from here:
You do not have access to download files from our server
2. Go to admin panel. Find the SYSTEM block then click the UPDATE button.
3. Select the update.zip file you downloaded from the first step then submit.
4. Click the clear Cache button in the admin panel.
5. Rebuild your gateway app to the latest version, please follow the app builder documentation. 
6. Update your WhatsApp server the same way when you install it, replacing existing storage files. (Make sure that your WhatsApp server is stopped before you update)   
7. All done.

    I updated to Zender v3.9.7-fix-1, and had some issues: 

    1. All messages sent were not received by the system even though all settings for receiving WA messages were unlimited so that the automatic message sending (flow) did not work properly and did not reply to messages according to the flow diagram. 

    2. Sending messages on the BULK feature by attaching image media cannot run (cannot be sent by the system). 

    How do I solve this? Please update the next update immediately. Thank you.

    Cant send SMS without making the Android APP Default.

    If Apps is not default it only tagged as sent but no actual sms received.

        thanks I have replace favicon.png with iconkitchin.zip but i still get We are unable to reach the Zender domain!

    FOR REBUILDING THE GATEWAY: The only option I see is v3.9.7 and v3.9.8. Which option should we pick to rebuild the app for Zender v3.9.7-fix-1? I already rebuilt it for v3.9.7 for the Zender v3.9.7 update. However, I'm not sure what to do for this Fix-1. Please clarify. Thank you!

    We noticed that post update of Zender v3.9.7, our all subscription got deleted automatically, is there any issue i this update. Also where can I find this in database so that we can reactivate all.

    Hello Zender Team,

    I have added the new Flow section update to my customized dashboard in Zender. My WhatsApp server is working fine, but messages are not being sent through the Flow system.

    Please resolve this issue as soon as possible. I have submitted a ticket 2 days ago, but I haven’t received any response yet.

    Notifications

    Previously, in older versions, I read notifications from the com.google.android.dialer application and the caller's phone number was recorded in the TITLE field of the DB, I could use it through the API for my own purposes.

    Now, when calling a number connected via a GATEWAY, the "Dialer" value is recorded in the TITLE DB

      @norielle Indeed, json from the gateway comes without specifying a number, previously it was "title".


      Should we expect further developments on this issue?

    Hello my friends;
    Enviroment:
    Hestia Panel
    Ubuntu 22.04
    Cloudflare or Without Cloudflare


    Everyone with this type of installation is being notified that a bug was detected in the latest Nginx update on Ubuntu 22.04.

    I had the following error on the main website and in the Hestia Panel:


    421 Misdirected Request [SOLVED]

    And there was no way I could fix it.

    This error is due to a recent Apache update in Ubuntu 22.04, which is now stricter with SNI (Server Name Indication) information when using a reverse proxy like Nginx (the standard configuration in Hestia).

    The safest and simplest solution, which won't be overwritten by future Hestia updates, is to create a global configuration file for Nginx.

    Step 1: Create the SNI configuration file

    nano /etc/nginx/conf.d/sni.conf

    Step 2: Add the contents to the file

    proxy_ssl_server_name on;

    proxy_ssl_name $host;

    Step 3: Test the Nginx configuration

    nginx -t

    Step 4: Restart Nginx to apply the changes

    systemctl restart nginx

    And that's it, my friends.

    Clear your browser cache or use an incognito window to visit your website. You should no longer see the 421 error.

    Cloudflare: Make sure that in your Cloudflare dashboard, under the SSL/TLS section, the encryption mode is set to "Full (Strict)" to ensure maximum security.

    I had my Zender website down for about 11 hours due to this situation. I hope that if anyone else is having this problem, they can resolve it in minutes with this information. The error is NOT from ZENDER. It's from Ubuntu, Hestia, and Nginx. Best regards.

    I'm facing the following issue: When using the AI autoresponder feature, the bot can't maintain the context of the prompt and keeps restarting the conversation or often stops responding after the second or third question. I believe the AI autoresponder feature is experiencing some kind of sudden stop, which is why it keeps restarting the conversation, for example, closing the contact several times, and doesn't continue with the context of the prompt. I've tested with several prompts and several WhatsApp accounts, and the problem is the same.
